We're creating a whole new website from scratch at work, and running the old one until it's ready to launch. It's coming along, but I don't think any of us has any idea of just how long it would take!
It took a fair while to set up all our new cloud services, web hosting, and so on and now that's been in place for a good while.
What's taking forever is downloading and re-uploading all our content - it's a mammoth task! And while some of us are in charge of sorting that out, others are spending ages tweaking bits of the site which should've been much easier to do than they really are! It's silly things like the way our galleries will look, text size, captions, and so on - but it's all important and needs to be in-keeping with the overall theme.
We started eight weeks ago and thought we would've launched at least two weeks before now, what a nightmare!
